The low-cut, oxford style uppers are made with black, full-grain leather. Made from nonprocessed cow hide, full-grain leather is as pure as it gets (unless you'd rather wear it while it's still mooing). Flexible and weather-resistant, the leather is tough against wear and still soft on your feet. The collars and tongues are padded for a soft fit.
Molded, 7mm EVA foam was used for the insole layer. The lightweight foam contours to your feet, softening impact so you'll feel nothing but comfort. Double-stitched construction joins the air-cushioned, PVC soles to the tough leather uppers. Polyvinyl chloride, PVC, is a plastic so tough it's used in plumbing pipes. Pipes have to last for many, many years, just like great Work Boots. Double-stitched construction is flexible and wear-resistant.
