Dunham Boots: Men's Exeter Dark Brown 8016 DBR Waterproof Chukka Work Boots
These Dunham Men's Exeter Dark Brown 8016 DBR Waterproof Chukka Diabetic Work Boots are made with a signature style. They look so stylish and handsome, we wouldn't blame you if you wanted to wear them no matter what. But the truth is, under all that handsomeness these Dunham boots are filled with comfort and safety features. So many, in fact, that you might want to wear them even if these weren't very stylish.
White stitching pops against the dark brown leather of these Chukka boots used to craft the ankle-high, chukka-style uppers. That rich-looking material is full-grain leather, hide that's been left in a natural state, so you lose none of the flexibility. Full-grain leather is naturally malleable and soft, made to move and bend around your steps. But don't mistake that softness of these waterproof boots for weakness. They are anything but weak. Full-grain is tough, durable against wear and tear. It resists wind and water, and stays flexible and pliant even in bad weather if you wear these Exeter boots.
These diabetic boots are built with seam-sealed waterproof construction, but it's the Gore-Tex membranes that make all the difference. Waterproof Gore-Tex surrounds your steps to block moisture, keeping your feet dryer and healthier. The thin membranes keep water away, but not air. They’re breathable to create ventilating, airy comfort while you have these men's boots on.
Removable footbeds soften your stride against shock. They cushion steps, so you'll feel less impact every time you move in these work boots. Because they're removable, the insoles are easy to clean for odor-prevention. Abzorb pods are integrated into the insoles of these dark brown boots, absorbing shock in the heel and forefoot. This is where shock impacts the most, and where impact-absorption makes the most difference. A rollbar provides rear foot stability. Made with TPU support posts, the rollbars keep your steps steady. TPU, thermoplastic urethane, is lightweight but highly impact-absorbent.
Shock-resistant rubber supports the design of these Dunham boots. The rubber soles absorb painful impact and put bounce back in your stride to give every step a little bit more energy. Rubber is hard-wearing, long-lasting material that gives your feet a firm foundation. That’s just what feet need when you’re hard at work.
One more thing, these Exeter boots also meet Medicare/HCPCS code for diabetic shoes. Could these Dunham boots have anything else loaded into them? Safety, style, health, it's all there!
Dunham Men's Exeter Dark Brown 8016 DBR Waterproof Chukka Diabetic Work Boots look amazing, and that’s not even one of the reasons why you should be wearing these every day.

Comfortable all day long!...
These boots are comfortable right from the start from the first time you put them on and I am on concrete floor all day long. No break in period, unlike some others i have tried.
They keep your feet dry, they are definitely waterproof and are correct to the size stated.
I will definitely buy these again.

Like the shoes, this is my second pair, I like the Gore Tex to keep my feet dry. The first pair the workmanship was not the best but of course they are made in China. They need to make them in wider sizes, these are ok but one size wider would be better. You have to remember that Chinese feet are different size than ours.
