It blocks out glare and reflected light. Pretty nifty. The polycarbonate lenses are ASTM certified to keep your eyes safer from flying objects. They’re also scratch-and fog-resistant to keep your vision clearer.
You get 99.9% protection from UVA, UVB and UVC rays. Tapered lenses eliminate refraction so your vision is clearer. The temple tips and nose pads have Megol to keep your safety glasses in place while you work. Megol gets a little tacky, not the bad kind of tacky, when it’s warmed by your body heat. So it helps your safety glasses to stay in place. Safety glasses are a lot safer when you don’t have to keep pushing them back up where they belong.
The side vents keep you cooler and the straight temple is more comfortable than other types. The Grilamid frames are made with TR90 – a super tough material.
