Ergodyne Traction Devices: Trex Slip On Ice Traction Devices 6300
Have you ever fallen down? Everybody's slipped, tripped, fallen...embarrassed themselves. But if you fall hard enough, you're going to bruise a whole lot more than your pride. Stay upright, even in the worst weather, with this Ergodyne 6300 Trex Slip-On Ice Traction Device.
This one-piece black traction device fits right onto your shoes or boots to give you grip even on slick, dangerous walking areas. There are 8 rugged, heat-treated carbon steel studs that bite into even ice and snow to give you traction. Every step in these ice traction slip-ons will be firmer, and that means that every step will be much safer.
While the durable carbon steel keeps your steps steady, the stretchable rubber design keeps them flexible. Just pull your traction device over your sole, and the rubber of these Ergodyne traction devices will keep your stride smooth all day long. The rubber actually stays flexible in temperatures as low as negative 40 degrees F. That's really, really cold.
The Ergodyne 6300 Trex Ice Traction Device is made with abrasion-resistant, tenacious materials that withstand even the harshest of winters. Sometimes, the ground under you is your own worst enemy. This device is the best possible defense.

wear out quickly, suitable for occasional use...
Ergodyne traction spike was a little harder than most to put on and off, which will make it a little annoying to walk around doing errands, since they are not suitable to be worn indoors. The spikes/cleats wear out pretty quickly as well. Therefore, I would not consider these to be suitable for regular use. However, they're pretty compact, and VERY cheap. They would work great for occasional and/or emergency use.
