With ballistic high-impact lenses, this pair of black-framed ESS sunglasses provides top-quality eye protection. These aren't "sort of" protective--they're incredibly protective. Compliant with U. S. Mil Spec MIL-PRF-31013 (clause 3.5.1.1) and ANSI Z87.1-2012, U.S. Federal OSHA standards.

Mirrored gray lenses are designed for use in medium to bright light. They have a VLT (visible light transmittance) of 12, which means that they allow only 12% of visible light to pass through. The lower the VLT number, the darker the lenses. These all-purposes lenses will reflect glare, while giving your eyes an unbiased view of color. They also provide 100% UVA/UVB protection, preventing damage to your eyes from the sun's rays.
