This Filson hooded rain coat is made from 6 ounce, 100% cotton cover cloth. The natural cotton material has been oil-finished for water-repellency. The finish makes the soft cotton tough against the weather. Why not use plastic, instead of cotton, to make a weather-resisting jacket? Because cotton is breathable, and heat-releasing, and comfortable on your body.
Close the rugged brass zipper and snap-closure storm flap on this American Made Filson coat to seal out the bad weather. More cotton was used to create lining in the hood, arms and upper body, so you feel only softness next to your skin. The hood is finished with a draw-cord, and has a generous bill, so it fits easily over a cap. Speaking of fitting easily, the storm cuffs have adjustable snap tabs for comfort. Made with knit nylon material, the cuffs on this Filson coat are made to fit close and snug around your arms to seal out weather.
This water-repellent jacket is styled to be roomy enough for zip-in vent liners and anything else you might want to wear. Even the cargo pockets are expandable, so you have plenty of space to store your gear. Hand warmer pockets sit behind these cargo pockets, providing additional storage room. Use the interior zippered security pocket to keep your stuff safe. The average length in the back is 34 inches, long enough to give you coverage on those cold, wet days.

“I wanted to write a quick note to say what a great job Hope C. did yesterday. I ordered work overalls for an employee and had them shipped to his home. I typed the zip code incorrectly. When I got the tracking number, I saw that the overalls were to be shipped to the wrong address! I called immediately and Hope was so professional and reassuring.
