If all you wanted was warmth, you'd wrap a blanket around your body and call it a day. When you want more than warmth - how about style, comfort, and easy flexibility? Now you want the Filson 10041 FG Forest Green Double Mackinaw Cruiser.
This forest green coat features six buttons down the front to give you a sophisticated, professional look. But looks aren't everything - not when the weather is bad. This coat is made with two layers of 24 ounce Mackinaw virgin wool (100%). This soft, warm wool can absorb up to 30% of its own weight in moisture without feeling damp to the touch, leaving you dry and comfortable no matter what the weather does. Fully unlined, this coat won't let you get over-heated.
A cape (one-piece) extends over your upper back, shoulders and sleeves to give you another layer of warm comfort. Use the buttons on the wrist cuffs to seal out the cold weather. Two hand warmer pockets (just below two front lower pockets) let you tuck your digits comfortably away. There are a total of four front pockets (all large in size) with snap flaps so you can hold your items. One of these pockets also features three utility slots for other odds and ends.

I stayed warm and dry while my modern material clad brother-in-laws froze, also the ventilation for the jacket is excellent.
The build quality is excellent, much better than the LL Bean version.
The only thing to note is that there is nothing to hang the coat up with, however I assume that's because the coat weights so much, so having a hanger at work is a must.
Oh and the inside pocket is not buttoned as the button you sometimes see in the pictures is a spare.
