And its not itchy or scratchy like regular wool. The Merino has a worsted finish for a soft, smooth fit. Because its 100% virgin wool, this pair will absorb up to 30% of its weight in water so you stay dry, warm and comfortable even in the nastiest conditions.
Nylon is blended into the toe and heel of these socks for added durability, though the Merino wool is the only thing that touches your feet. The 12-inch length reaches mid-calf for easy wear under tall boots. Elastic ankle bands help keep them in place while flat toe seams offer a more comfortable fit and help prevent blisters.
