How good are these Rocky 5005 Men's TMC Black Postal Approved Duty Chukka Boots? They've been approved by the United States Postal Service, and if you've ever tried to mail anything without a zip code on it you know how picky those people can be.
The sleek, ankle-high design is made with polishable full-grain leather. Easy to shine and easy to clean, full-grain leather is flexible and supple. It moves and stretches around feet, but full-grain can stand its ground when needed. It's waterproof, it's tough, it's made to withstand heavy wear and tear.
The soft footbeds cushion and support your feet to reduce impact and relieve muscle strain. An Aegis Microbe Shield has been applied to kill odor-causing bacteria. Even after you wear your boots all day, your feet won't smell like it.
The soles have been directly attached to the leather with tough, weatherproofing construction. Made with a combination of TPU and PU, thermoplastic urethane and polyurethane, the soles are shock-absorbing and rubber-like, but very lightweight. They help feel spring back from every step.
Treated for oil-resistance, the soles won't be affected by corrosive chemicals. Slip-resistance gives you gripping traction, even on ice and wet floors. Non-metallic stabilizers support your arches, keeping them lifted so muscles don't have to strain.
