Keen Shoes: Men's 1007013 Tan ESD Soft Toe Work Shoes
Keen's patented toe protection made their men's shoes distinctive as soon as they came on the market. Now you can get the same toe protection offered in Keen sandals in Keen shoes. A pair of Keen Men's 1007013 Detroit Low ESD Soft Toe Shoes gives you excellent protection in a great-looking style.
These low ESD shoes offer a versatile, medium-profile design that supports and protects your feet. The rugged uppers are made of waterproof Nubuck that's stain-resistant. They also have reflective webbing on the uppers for added safety.
Inside, you'll love that Dry-Lex mesh lining that keeps these comfortable and easy to wear. The lining has hydrophobic/hydrophilic, 2-zone comfort technology. That means that the lining keeps water out, and it also wicks moisture away from your skin.
You'll also love the comfort offered by dual-density, compression-molded EVA midsoles. EVA is a soft, durable material made of plastic foam. It absorbs impact and cushions feet. The removable footbeds of these tan shoes is also made of EVA. Designed to be metatomical, the footbeds are internal suport mechanisms that are anatomically engineered to give support to your arches and to cradle the natural contours of your feet. Contoured heel locks and torsion stability ESS shanks, this ESD footwear gives you support while reducing excess static electricity build-up.
The rubber outsoles are oil- and slip-resistant and they meet or exceed ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) F1677-96 MARK II non-slip testing standards. They're also non-marking.
Like all Keen shoes, these also offer toe-protection technology. The outsoles are molded up and over the toe caps of the slip-resistant shoes to give you an extra layer of protection.
Protect your feet and toes while wearing comfortable men's footwear. Discover the foot-friendly features in Keen's Men's 1007013 Detroit Low ESD Soft Toe Water-Resistant Shoes.

I have had these shoes since around April of last year. They are very rugged and durable. I work in a transmission assembly plant so there is oil and tranny fluid everywhere yet these hold me solid to the ground. I work on smooth concrete, textured steel plate, and jagged grated platforms, which does definatley show on the sole. I have pretty much worn these shoes out and i am 99% sure i will order the exact same pair!

Best ESD shoes ever...
i just ordered my second pair today. I work in electronics and I prefer ESD shoes over heel straps. Most ESD shoes are ugly, but these look like regular hiking shoes in the style of Keen. My current pair I have worn 6-7 days a week, in all weather conditions in New England and I work on an epoxy coated ESD floor at work, and I have been wearing these shoes for two years. Weekends I wear them rehabbing a 100 year old house. They are finally starting to show some wear.
I will be keeping the old pair to work around the house on the weekends and keep the new pair just for work.
Just like my Keen water sandals, I would recommend them to anyone looking for comfortable durable shoes.

Not what I expected...
I have had a pair of these for 2 months now, wearing them 8-10 hours a day at work. I immediately noticed one shoe pinched my toes but thought they would wear in, but they didn't. The only way to get relief from the pinching was to loosen the laces, which caused the shoe to be loose and sloppy. Also, the sole has already started to peel on one of the shoes, and there are little holes in the top of the tongue where the laces have been rubbing. I find the overly aggressive tread design to be unnecessary and awkward, given that I only wear these shoes indoors at work. I will not be buying these again and would not recommend them.
