These Timberlands look professional and attractive. The uppers are made of premium, full-grain, polished black leather. Leather is durable and resists oil, water, and abrasions. Even though leather is already one of the best materials for shoe manufacture, these Wilshire shoes are treated with 3M's Scotchgard protector. Scotchgard makes the leather stain resistant.
Timberland built several comfort features into these shoes. At the top, an internal, leather-lined collar protects the tops of your feet and your ankles from slight bumps. Beneath your feet, Anti-Fatigue technology provides support and cushioning. This technology is designed to absorb shock as you walk. It returns the energy you expend while walking to key zones of your feet. You know that when you walk, you expend energy. The technology in the soles of these shoes use inverted cones that condense and then bounce back to recapture that energy. The result is long-lasting comfort.
Goodyear rubber outsoles also provide comfort and a sure grip on all sorts of wet or dry surfaces. These soles have a SafeGrip slip-resistant grip that clings to potentially-slippery office floors. They're non-marking too, so won't mar your workplace floors.
Inside the soles, a non-metallic fiberglass shank adds an extra layer of comfort. It suports your foot and forces the shoe to break at an appropriate place. This prevents the shoes from pinching or developing uncomfortable bends.
