Original SWAT 1310 Men's Black Chase Low Shoes look like the stylish kicks you'd see a famous basketball player advertising. But those pretty looks are just a side effect of quality materials and rugged construction.
The full-grain leather in the toe area is polishable, pliant and tough. The uppers are also made with 1200 denier nylon that resists wear and abrasions. Foam padding in the tongues and collars create cushioning. The polyurethane collars aren’t just shock-resistant, they’re made with perforations that transport hot air away. Gusseted tongues, made in a reinforced design, prevent dirt and debris from getting inside.
Moisture-wicking fabric was used in the lining. The AEGIS microbial treatment prevents odor and bacteria build up on the fabric. The orthotic insoles are made with EVA form and Poron cushioning for a lightweight, contouring fit. Also treated with Aegis, the removable inserts may be cleaned any time.
Texon stability platforms keep your steps steady. They’re made to provide both lateral and torsional support. The nylon shanks are made without metal to provide lightweight lift. Phylon midsoles, made with an EVA-like material, add more soft support to the design.
The rubber outsoles are made with siping, small cuts that provide extra traction. Made with a ladder grip tread, the non-marking soles are slip-resistant for better safety. Custom-molded thermoplastic heel counters and toe boxes give you a comfortable fit. Heel flex notches create better flexibility for Achilles tendon comfort.
Made with a stitched toe and heel, the soles have extended durability. They also provide EH, electrical hazard protection that’s ASTM F2412-11 and F2413-11 approved. Airport security-friendly, these boots are made without metal. Tough brass alloy material, rust-proof and tough, was used for the hardware.
