Made in the USA, the Thorogood 831-6803 Poromeric Oxford has leather uppers, a breathable lining, a removable footbed, and steel shanks to provide extra support for hours on your feet walking in those many parades to the marches of John Philip Sousa. The soles are Goodyear Welt polyurethane, which are extremely tough soles. They provide excellent traction and the best lateral stability of all boots ("right-face!"). These soles are non-marking, oil- and slip-resistant. The toes are made for general work, and the shoes weigh 2.0 lbs, and laces are 33.5 inches in length.
