Your weight will rest on top of tough Vibram rubber outsoles the entire time you're wearing these Carhartt boots. The slip-resistant tread helps you find your footing on ice or wet flooring, because you've got to work either way. Molded TPU heel counters, with built-in Achilles flex joints, give you support. The tough thermoplastic polyurethane helps to cradle and support your heels with every step. Oil- and chemical-resistance protects the rubber soles against corrosion.
The rubber outsoles absorb shock while the rest of the padding provides comfort. A core of EVA foam creates soft, cushioning midsoles. Not to be outdone, the OrthoLite insoles provide their own layer of contouring softness on top of this. Even the OrthoLite comfort tongue and ankle collars are padded, so every part of these composite toe boots fit comfortably around your feet.
Chocolate brown leather was used to create the flexible, 6-inch design. The soft leather is oil-tanned for water-repellency and durability. Waterproof membranes provide moisture protection, keeping your feet dry in the worst of weather. Tough cement construction helps to complete the tough, weatherproofing design.
