These logger style boots are made with dark brown, full-grain leather. This natural leather is tough, resilient and flexible for a secure, comfortable fit. Milled and oiled, the leather has added water-resistance and durability.

This incident made me become interested in ESD boots. I researched them on this site and decided to go with Docs. They were extremely comfortable. I wore them everyday for about two months when I again made contact with foreign voltage running down a guy wire. I didn't feel it at all this time and the trouble man with the electric company told me I was in contact with over 300v. After sharing my story with co-workers a few of them have become loyal Doc ESD fans as well.
After that first pair I got the same ones again. Then I tried Timberland ESD. They hurt and didn't last long. I tried to get the same Docs again but they were out of the model in my size. I tried another model with more stitching designs on them. They were better than the Tims but not as good as the first Docs.
These are my 5th pair of ESD boots and I want to by a hundred more so I never have to worry about them running out. They are a plain and good looking boot. Also the most comfortable steel toe boot I've ever owned. Usually I make boots look 3 years old in about a month. These boots have held their shape for the last 5 months.
If you're looking for water-proof, these ain't the ones. The first rain I wore them I could actually feel them filling up. It felt pretty good and they were dry the next day. They've seen a few rains since then and still hold that nice shape. When rain season starts I may get something waterproof to keep my dogs dry but as soon as it stops I'm putting my favorite boots back on.
