This 6" steel toe work boot is outfitted with a dense rubber outsole that is built for heavy industrial use. The extended wear outsole used on this work boot is chip,oil, and heat resistant.
The oil tanned leather uppers are durable, but not stiff. In fact, the leather uppers of these boots are comfortable from day one. The triple stitching adds to the durability of the uppers so they stay together during heavy use. The collar is padded in such a way that it pads your leg without a feeling of bulk around your ankle or stiffness.
The footbed of this venerable steel toe boot is a lined pillow cushion. Walking on this footbed is like walking on a pillow. Really. It is designed to mold to the shape of your foot and arch over time so you get custom arch support.
This boot is rated for Electrical Hazard. Electrical Hazard Rated boots are tested by an independent lab and withstand applications of 14,400 volts (rms) at 60 Hz for one minute with leakage in excess of 3.0 milliamperes. These special boots and shoes can protect the wearer against open circuits up to 600 volts or less under dry conditions.

These are very slippry on any type of oily surface. They have hardly any give in the soles. All in all I would rather have thrown away the shoes and wore the boxes. I have gone back to wearing my old broke down boots.
