Thorogood 804-4203 Men's 6-Inch American Heritage Safety Toe Boots are made by the Weinbrenner Shoe Company. In operation since 1892, Weinbrenner initiated many of the safety and job-fitted design elements that are common today.
Thorogood 804-4203 Men's 6-Inch American Heritage Safety Toe Boots have quality black walnut Badlands oil-tanned leather uppers, Comfort Weave lining, and solid brass hardware. They have a removable dual-density ultimate shock absorption insert on a Poron 4000 Comfort Cushion footbed, a fiberglass shank that supports from underneath, and Goodyear Welt construction. That means that the Thorogood dual-density polyurethane Comfort Sole is sewn directly to the boot. These boots, made in the USA, have a rubber midsole and a 90-degree heel. They meet or exceed ASTM F 2413-05 M/I/75/C/75 standards for steel toe boots, and protection from electrical hazard. They're made by Union workers in the USA since 1892.
