With a black tumbled full-grain leather upper and a fiberglass shanks that provide superior arch support and will help make each step count. And in case you need protection from more than aching arches, this boot's safety toe will keep your toes alive should they be attacked by boulders or near-sighted snakes.
Since hikers tend to be on their feet for extended periods of time, Thorogood crafted these work boots with that exact idea of comfort in mind. The removable dual density polyurethane "Shock Zone" insole will keep your feet comfy and each step smooth. The Soft Streets dual density polyurethane outsole provides even more comfort with each step. (Hopefully streets aren't the only thing these shoes make soft. There are not too many streets on the climb up a mountain.) There is also a comfort weave lining, so your whole foot will feel snug and safe.
