The brown uppers are made with full-grain Nubuck leather. Like all natural full-grain, the leather is pliant and stretchy against your skin, but tough and hard against the elements. Nubuck has the fuzzy softness of suede.
Abrasion-resistant, airy nylon mesh lining won't hold in sweat-inducing heat. Shock-absorbent polyurethane sock liners are soft and cushioning, preventing impact pain on the feet.
Lightweight Thermolite insulation (400 gram weight) has also been placed inside. The warming insulation will protect your feet against the cold, something else that can do a lot more than merely ruin your day.
