The Chippewa 25405 offers: safety, durability, comfort and style.
The leather uppers, in Bay Apache, a color that looks like it sounds, are full grain leather; not just because leather looks so good but because it's layers make it durable and offers protection from abrasions and outdoor elements. Leather is also breathable allowing for ease of movement, that means comfort!
The waterproof system comes with a one-year guarantee. It's a high tech membrane construction called Chip-A-Tex. The inside is lined with the Dri-Lex system, nylon with excellent moisture wicking capabilities, is longwearing and very breathable.
The Goodyear welt, cement, direct attach construction provides years of durability. The sole is made to be easily replaced for those hard working folks who walk all day long. The soles are easily removed and replaced for an even longer lifespan.
Safety! That can't be overlooked. A steel toe, rubber soles to protect against electrical hazards, slippage, and chemical and oil resistant.
The footbed is removable for convenience and the Vibram Rubber Lug soles are filled with tiny pockets of air for insulation and shock absorption. to go with the same ones again. I have had Red Wings, Wolverines, and Georgias before but none of them are like these "Chippewas". I wore them to work yesterday and turkey hunting this morning. I was in mud this morning about six inches deep while hunting and my feet stayed dry and warm. They have great traction in the muddy sloppy areas. I would recommend these boots to anyone that needs a good workboot. Thanks Chippewa
