These Blundstone Men's Armourtread Lace-Up Met-Guard Work Boots 917 provide top-of-the-line protection, comfort and style for your most extreme work needs.
Crafted from black, premium water-resistant leather, the upper wraps your feet in ultimate comfort. Every place where this boot has stitching, you'll find Kevlar stitching (no messing around here). A padded leather tongue and collar keep them feeling and fitting great.
These Blundstone boots provide excellent metatarsal protection. The Poroon XRD metatarsal guard provides extreme impact protection that absorbs, when impacted at high strain rates, up to 90% of energy. Blundstone lightweight metatarsal guards are molded to allow for ultimate flexibility, contouring and protection, thus allowing the foot to bend and flex freely. Channels created by this unique design help air and moisture to move freely throughout the footbed, increasing breathability.
The safety features don't stop on top. These shoes also feature a broad-fitting, 200 joule impact resistant, type 1 steel toe cap. Outside, a molded TPU heel and toe offer additional protection. Certified to ASTM F2413-05 M I/75 C/75 Mt/75 PR EH, these boots comply to EN 13287/04 Slip resistance.
The interiors of these Blundstone boots feature a shock-zone polyether PU footbed that features a channelled air flow system and cushion lining. The midsole is made of polyurethane, a synthetic foam that provides cushioning, warmth, and impact absorption. The insole is non-metallic and penetration resistant. The outsoles, made of rubber, offer excellent slip- and cut-resistance. Impressively, they're heat resistant to 572 degrees Fahrenheit.
