The laceless brown uppers are detailed with scuff-protecting black accents. Rubber toe guards and abrasion-resistant black leather heels keep the uppers looking good. Made with soft kicker cello leather, the Wellington-style uppers will move and flex with every step. They’re soft, but not weak. Leather is durable and wear-resistant, staying flexible even when wet.
Waterproof scuba liners line the inside of each boot to keep moisture away. They’ll keep you dry, even when the weather isn’t. Lightweight Thinsulate, a moderate 600 gram weight, creates a warming layer. The insulation in these wellington boots absorbs your body heat and radiates it back to you, even in spite of freezing temperatures.
Dual-density footbeds cushion against shock and impact. Made with two layers of foam, the footbeds soften foot strike. Thanks to the removable design, they can be cleaned any time. The midsoles are made with shock-resistant polyurethane to give feet another layer of protection. Non-metallic shanks lift and support your muscles, preventing strain.
The heavy-duty rubber soles on these Carolina wellington boots are secured with flexible cement construction. Your feet will react naturally to danger, and that means they need to be free to move. The heavy-duty soles are shock-resistant, but they bend and flex.
