The Thorogood 804-4614 Men’s 6" Internal Metatarsal Work Boots are made with premium quality that is brought to you at an affordable price. These boots provide you with exceptional abrasion, heat and chip resistance, plus the Rubber Chevron used for the outsoles creates great slip and oil resistance as well. The internal met guards use patented I-Met Technologies while the steel toes meet or exceed ASTM F 2413-05 M/I/75/C/75/Mt/75 Steel Toe Regulations, to help keep your feet free from injury. These Thorogood work boots are also Electrical Hazard Rated and has been tested and approved to meet or exceed /CSA-Z195 18,000 Volts Electrical Shock Resistance Standards.
A Goodyear Storm welt holds the full-grain oil-tanned leather upper to the sole of the boot with a lining in between both with stitching to create a single unit for added durability. Goodyear Storm welts are extremely tough and provide you with impeccable traction and stability. Best of yet, with a Goodyear welt you can easily replace the soles when they have become too worn or damaged.
The midsoles of these metatarsal boots are made from rubber while the insoles are made from polyurethane. The removable polyurethane insoles extend through the full length of the boots and lay on top of Poron 4000 Comfort Cushion for the most extreme long-lasting comfort.
