Golden Retriever 8940 EH Composite Toe Work Hiking Boots are made in a handsome two-tone design that looks fun and stylish. You can't tell from looking at them that they've been made with every work-friendly feature your feet need. But step inside these boots, then step outside into the world, and you'll find this footwear is ready for anything.
The ankle-high design is crafted with tough, full-grain leather. The waterproof leather is soft and pliant, surrounding feet in flexible comfort. The Dry Dawgs waterproof membrane protects your feet from moisture. The membrane is also breathable and heat-releasing, so your feet will stay cool.
Even the footbeds are covered in Dri-Lex material to keep you dry. The moisture-wicking material pulls sweat from skin. The footbeds are made with shock-resistant polyurethane that absorbs stepping impact. An Aegis microbe shield treatment on the footbeds prevents foot odor.
The midsole layer is made with more polyurethane. TPU, thermoplastic urethane, stabilizes the feet and provides arch-lifting support. It all sits on top of the shock-resisting NRLY rubber outsoles. The oil-resistant soles stand up to corrosive chemicals. Slip-resistance helps you stay steady even on icy and wet floors.
The composite safety toes aren't made with steel, but they meet ASTM F2413-05 standards for impact- and compression-resistance. The roomy toe box design gives your feet plenty of space, and all the while they're protected with non-metal that won't conduct heat or electricity.
