Ariat Boots: Men's Steel Toe 10010133 Waterproof Workhog EH Cowboy Work Boots
Unlike many other types of cowboy boots, Ariat boots are designed to give you a traditional look AND offer advanced comfort. Instead of being stiff, heavy, or requiring a long break-in period, Ariat footwear is comfortable from the get-go. For excellent performance in the barn and in the ring, chose this pair of Ariat Men's Brown 10010133 Waterproof Workhog Steel Toe EH Boots.
Although it might seem that good looks are Ariat's first priority, they put a lot of focus on comfort, too. These black and brown boots are lined with mesh to wick moisture away from your feet, keeping them cool, dry, and healthy. Under this lining, there are shock-absorbing EVA midsoles that cushion your every step. A stability chassis built into each of the steel toe boots promotes a proper gait cycle (that's a fancy way for saying you'll walk well, with better posture). The midsoles and stability chassis both encourage energy return, so when you walk, instead of expending energy and having it dissipate, these Workhog boots return that energy to your body.
And of course, these safety toe boots look great! The full-grain leather uppers are brown on the feet and black on the shafts. Although leather is naturally water-, oil-, and abrasion-resistant, Ariat treated these men's boots so they're fully waterproof. They have waterproof membranes in them as well, so your feet will stay dry all day long. The long-lasting Mossy Oak Break-Up Cordura uppers resists wear and tear, and you'll have firm footing with their ATS Max comfort foundation and WorkHog Stability platforms. The extra wide stability shanks and lightweight EVA cushioned midsoles reduce foot fatigue. You can get these square toe boots on easily with their U-Turn Entry System that'll give you a true fit.
The Duratread outsoles are rugged and made to last. They're oil- and slip-resistant to offer you improved safety on the job. The rugged outsoles also have self-cleaning and non-tracking treads, so you won't bring whatever you step through in the barn into the house. The heel backs have a 90-degree angle that provides excellent stability on ladders.
When it's time to resole these waterproof boots, it's easy to do so since they have Goodyear Welts. That means that the stitching can be removed, the soles taken off, and new ones put on, if needed. A Goodyear Welt is an economical choice because when the soles wear out, the men's shoes still last.
This unique Ariat footwear offers steel toe protection. When you're working around horses, heavy machinery, and metal tools, you want to make sure your toes are protected. These steel toes are ASTM F2413-11 M/I/75 C/75 EH rated, so you know you're getting safe men's footwear. They also meet an electrical hazard rating, so you'll be guarded against open circuits when you're at work.
There are plenty of nice-looking men's boots on the market, but they're not all equally made. Many companies focus on looks over comfort and safety. Working men know that it's what inside that counts, that's why they choose the quality of Ariat Men's Brown Waterproof 10010133 Workhog Steel Toe Duratread Cowboy EH Boots.
Lady who sold them to me said they'd last 1-2 years. I've done extensive work with concrete (eats your shoes alive), and even after 3 years these things were still holding together. My heel slides a bit outwards on the right foot, and eventually I had to get new boots because the leather was stretching something awful. Still, couldn't recommend these boots enough.

Great Pair of Boots...
I always love Arait boots. You can't beat the quality. I owned two pairs before getting these and am really happy with the purchase. They take some time to break in, but once broken, they're perfect. The only complaint I have is that they're a little warm in hot weather, which I attribute to the waterproofing. If you're working in a moderate climate then you should be fine, but I wouldn't wear them in hotter areas. Still, I would highly recommend these as a good quality work boot.
