Full-grain leather uppers surround feet in durable flexibility. The pliant leather is soft against feet, but full-grain is also strong and wear-resistant. Full-grain is slow to wear out, developing a handsome patina as it ages.
The removable, cleanable footbeds are made with shock-resistant polyurethane. Integrated heel stabilizers help keep every step supported. Speaking of support, double-ribbed, tempered steel shanks have been built right into the design to lift arches and take the pressure off your muscles.
Goodyear welt stitching attaches the dual-density rubber soles to the leather. The repairable stitches follow every curve around the base of each boot to create a flexible, secure bond. The tough, impact-absorbent soles have been treated for oil-resistance to protect them from corrosion.
The soles are also resistant to electrical hazards. They've been tested to meet ASTM F2413-05 standards of safety, so they'll absorb up to 600 volts of dangerous electricity. The protective toes are rated for ASTM F2413-05 I/75 C/75 standards.
