Blundstone 881 Men's Steel Toe Black FR Velcro Smelter Boots guard your feet against those flyaway sparks, hot bits of metal, flame hazards and other dangers that happen when working with hot metal.
These smooth, laceless boots are constructed from flame-retardant leather. Compression-resistant upper insulation guards your skin against radiant heat, too. Just use the adjustable Velcro flaps to get a perfect fit every time, and you’re ready to work.
Made with Kevlar-stitched seams, these boots will even protect you against hot liquids and splashing metal. The soles are heat-resistant to 300 degrees C, or 572 degrees F. By any scale, that’s a whole lot of heat. Where normal boots would melt and crumble, these babies stand tall against dangers.
The soles are also resistant to oils, acids and even organic fats, all those corrosive materials that might cause untimely wear and tear. A slip-resistant tread will keep your steps steady. Flame-retardant leather scuff caps keep these boots looking good, too.
With every step you take or hour you stand, the SPS max comfort system cushions your feet. Poron in the heel strike zone softens impact. The footbeds are made with EVA foam and more cushioning Poron. The ergonomically engineered toe spring design keeps every step bouncy.
Steel shanks support your stride. Made to provide torsional stability, the shanks lift and support your foot muscles.
