American-made Thorogood 804-6383 Black Hornet Structural Oblique Toe Bunker Boot is a full 14 inches high and offers exceptional protection in quality, durable footwear. The upper is waterproof, flame- and cut-resistant black leather. The Vibram rubber toe and heel protection and flame-resisting Advance shaft with “sharkskin” covered shin guard add to the mix for a superior product.
Goodyear storm welts provide excellent protection from water. The lining is Comfort Weave and Sympatex, forming a waterproof and blood-borne pathogen-compliant barrier. Blood-borne pathogen -compliant means that pathogens cannot penetrate the boots for at least an hour. The polyurethane removable insole rests on a flexible non-woven double insole. Steel triple ladder shanks give a good fit for your insteps and make sure your feet bend where they’re supposed to, lot’s of support here. The outsole is Thorogood exclusive Vibram fire soles with chiseled edge lugs.
Add in Kevlar stitching, flexible L-Protection puncture-resisting insole material, certified oblique steel toes and an electrical hazard rating. The high visibility piping is made from 3M Scotchlite reflective material.
