They have a steel safety toe that meets ASTM F 2413-05 M/I/75/C/75 regulations. They keep you protected from electrical hazard danger with their CAN/CSA-Z195 electrical shock resistance standards. The waterproof features make these boots perfect for structural and wildland fire fighting, plus they meet NFPA 1977 requirements. These boots also have Flexible L-Protection puncture and slip resistant soles, while the leather uppers are flame and cut resistant. These boots will also keep you protected from blood borne pathogens.
If you thought we were done telling you about all the incredible features these fire-fighting boots have to offer, well you’re wrong. The scuff-resistant Vibram soles with toe bumpers will also help make the boots last longer. They are also made with a Goodyear storm welt, so if you ever need to replace the soles that is very easy to accomplish. Plus, with the ability to replace the soles, the overall life of the boots will be extended. There are also steel triple ladder shanks to make climbing ladders easy to do, something firefighters have to be prepared for.
The midsoles are made from rubber while the insoles are made with a polyurethane removable footbeds. These removable footbeds are made with a flexible double rubber so you have exceptional support and comfort. Since you can remove the insoles, keeping the insides of them clean is very easy to do.
