Smooth, full-grain black leather was used to create the ankle-high hiker design. Full-grain leather is resilient, flexible and resistant to wind and weather. The inner lining is made with spacer mesh nylon, material that's lightweight and resistant to abrasions. The breathable fabric keeps feet ventilated and cool.
The dual-density footbeds are full-length to cushion feet from toe to heel. Made with shock-resistant polyurethane, the footbeds are designed with air flow vents that transfer body heat away from feet. And when that doesn't work, use the removable footbed design to pull them right out for cleaning.
Polyurethane midsoles add another layer of shock-resistant cushioning, helping feet rebound from every step. The midsoles are made with flexible, puncture-resistant material. The job site may be filled with rusty nails and other hazards. Because you might not miss every one, these boots protect you. The engineered composite shanks support muscles and arches, so your legs and feet have to work less.
The rubber soles are attached with direct-injected construction. Made with 90-degrees heels, the soles help you maintain your grip on ladder rungs. Slip-resistance helps you maintain your footing everywhere else. The Thoro-dri waterproofing system keeps you dry and protected against outside moisture.
Rated for electrical hazard resistance, these boots have been tested to withstand 18,000 volts. The 100% non-metallic design leaves nothing out. The composite safety toes aren't steel, but they are ASTM F2413-05 M/I/75/C/75 tested for resistance to impact and compression.
