That's right -- they really are 16 inches tall through the shaft. The uppers are made with 7 ounce full-grain leather, which is made from whole hide for maximum flexibility and strength. A semi lace-to-toe design creates the logger-like boot style.
Leather side flaps and removable false tongues complete the handsome design. Double full-leather insoles help soften steps, because leather is soft and flexible in addition to being durable. Ribbed, gently arched shanks lift and support foot muscles to prevent strain and pain.
Full leather welt construction was used to secure the puncture-resistant soles. Leather welt stitching helps create a flexible bond between the soles and the uppers. Meanwhile, the puncture-resistant material will guard you against nails and other dangerous hazards.
The Vibram soles have a tough tread to give you gripping power. The non-metallic composite toes meet ASTM F2413-05 MI/75 C/75 standards for impact and compression, guarding your feet against falling hazards. The soles meet EH standards of safety, providing electrical hazard resistance that absorbs dangerous energy to keep you safer.
