Timberland Pro 87561 Black Men's 16-Inch General Toe Wellington Boots look a little like Biker boots and a little like Work Boots. Either way, they give you solid durability and soft comfort.
These tall black boots pop thanks to the white, contrasting striping. The stripes are actually reflective 3M Scotchlite that add high-vis safety. Waterproof Ever-Guard leather moves with your steps, but it won’t give in to abrasions and wear. Thanks to the thin Gore-Tex membranes, these boots have additional waterproofing.
Mesh lining creates an airy, breathable interior. The material has been treated with antimicrobial protection that kills odors and bacteria. Even the Outlast adaptive covers on the footbeds prevent sweat by regulating your foot temperature. Meanwhile, those footbeds are made with open-cell polyurethane that absorbs force to soften steps.
Along with the supportive steel shanks, the interior design is part of the Independent Suspension Network that keeps feet agile and in control. Meanwhile, the 200 gram weight insulation adds warmth.
The flexible rubber soles are made with a polyurethane filler to create a lightweight core of shock-resistance. They’re attached with Goodyear welt construction, repairable construction that creates a solid bond. Oil-, abrasion- and heat-resistant, the soles stand up to anything the day will dish out. They’re even slip-resistant, so you can always find your footing. Each comfort lug acts independently to give you grip and shock-resistance.
Rubber metatarsal guards and Steel-Flex puncture-resistant plates protect your feet above and below. Along with the steel safety toes, the metatarsal guards protect against impact and compression. Made with a wide Titan last, the toe caps create a roomy, comfortable fit. EH protection guards you against electrical hazards, soaking up as much 600 dangerous volts.
