The medium brown uppers are ruggedly styled with exposed outseam construction. The brown leather looks good because it is good. Full-grain leather was taken right off the cow and put right on your feet, with very little processing and pulling and fooling around in-between. Oil-resistance protects the soles from corrosive chemicals.
The soles are finished with 90-degree heels that give you a bit of lift and improve your grip on ladder rungs. By the way, they're also EH rated for resistance to electrical hazards. That means they absorb electricity to keep you safer. The safety toes are ASTM F2413-11 MI/75 C/75 rated to guard you against impact and compression.
