The brown, laceless, Wellington-style design is made with full-grain leather. The tumbled leather has a pebbled texture that's tough and strong against weather and wear, but the leather is soft, too. Full-grain is flexible around your feet, moving with each of your steps. The leather's also waterproof, so wear it in the rain as much as you like.
Inside the boots, canvas and suede create a soft interior. The abrasion-resistant canvas and fuzzy suede blend strength with comfort, because you need both to work. Shock-resistant polyurethane was used to create the cushioning sock liners.
Rubber midsoles and steel shanks prevent pain. While the rubber resists shock, the steel shanks lift and support your muscles so you can work without strain. Superwelt construction, a combination of glue and stitches, was used to secure the puncture-resistant outsoles. The rubber soles are slip-resistant, too, so you can walk most anywhere in safety.
The soles are electro-static dissipative, so they won’t collect a lot of harmful static energy that can damage electronics. Steel toes complete the safe construction, guarding feet against falling objects and anything else that might crush tender toes.
