But that brown leather is actually waterproof industrial trailblaz, an oiled and tumbled leather with a rich texture and tough durability. Once you're there, your feet will be resting on the Smartmask footbeds. Cushioned with shock-resistant polyurethane, the footbeds in these work boots literally help your feet rebound from tough stepping impact. A layer of EVA foam was compression-molded into the midsoles to add airy softness.
The GNB soles, made with impact-resistant Nitrile rubber, have a heavily-cleated tread to give you slip-resistance. The soles on these steel toe wellington boots are secured with glued cement construction to keep wet weather away from your feet. And to keep you ready to work, EVA foam was put in the forefoot and heel strike area to further soften steps.
The soles are heat-resistant up to 300 degree C, 572 degrees F. The Nitrile rubber protects the tread of these safety toe boots from many corrosive chemicals like oils and grease to provide you a longer-lasting boot.
