The brown uppers, styled with black accents, are made with a combination of action leather and nylon. Action leather isn't named for nothing -- it's flexible and pliable, soft and stretchy through every step. Abrasion-resistant nylon is tough, but it also releases heat to keep your feet feeling less sweaty.
Padded collars and contouring OrthoLite comfort tongues add more softness where your feet need it, creating a comfortable fit. Speaking of soft OrthoLite, the insoles are made with the cushioning material to shift and adjust to your steps as needed. EVA foam midsoles in these Carhartt Shoes add another soft, airy layer.
The waterproof membranes block moisture, keeping you dry in the roughest weather situations. Cement sole construction further strengthens the weather-resistant bond. Tough cementing, a glued construction method, keeps the slip-resistant rubber soles in soles. These men's Carhartt hikers are also oil- and chemical-resistant, strong enough to resist corrosive workplace chemicals.
