With solid black uppers that combine the good looks of full-grain, polishable leather and the durability of 1000 denier nylon, these Oxford shoes are great for work. The full-grain leather is easily polishable, and resist abrasions, water and oil.
Designed for comfortable wear, these all-black shoes have several features that keep you steady on your feet. Inside, there's a custom-molded phylon midsole. The material's light, so it keeps the over-all weight of the shoe down. Custom molding means that the footbeds cradle your feet comfortably. Texon stability platform insoles provide additional comfort since they give you lateral support and stability. In the rear of the shoes, custom-molded thermoplastic heel counters give these shoes a broken-in feel--even when they're just out of the box. Over the life of the shoes, the heel counters provide additional lateral support. And that's important when you're walking quickly or on slippery surfaces.
Stable shoes that offer soft comfort are our favorites. Removable custom-fit EVA orthotics provide all-day comfort and are easy to replace. These Original SWAT shoes have foam padding in the tongues and collars. This protects the tops of your feet from pinching and bumps. The collars are made of Polyurethane for easy cleaning. Gussets connect the tongues to the shoes. A gusset is a fold of fabric that prevents dirt, debris and water from easily getting into the shoe body.
