But they perform like low-cut work boots, giving your feet the protection they require when you're on the factory room floor.
The low-cut uppers are made with dark brown, full-grain leather. One of the highest quality leathers on the market, full-grain is soft and pliable, flexible around the feet. Naturally breathable, the leather also guards against wind and water to keep feet dry and comfortable. Nylon mesh material was used in the lining and the soft sock liners, a breathable fabric that promotes air flow to keep feet ventilated and cool.
Polyurethane, a synthetic rubber that's lighter in weight but more shock-absorbent, adds more cushioning to the midsole and outsole layers. The impact-resistant polyurethane puts a spring in every step, helping feet rebound from shock and foot strike. The steel shanks lift and support arches, taking the strain off muscles so you'll feel less fatigued.
Direct-injection construction was used to attach the polyurethane soles, which are rated for resistance to electrical hazards. The soles will absorb as much as 600 volts of electricity, guarding you against open circuits. The steel toes, approved to meet ASTM F2413-05 I/75 C/75 requirements for impact-resistance, protect sensitive feet from hazards falling objects.
