The low-cut silver uppers contrast against white soles. Made in a lightweight oxford-style design, the nylon mesh uppers promote cooling airflow to prevent sweat. The low-cut look is thoroughly modern, but in its way it’s classic. You can be stylish in these shoes for a long, long time.
No matter how good the outside looks, it doesn’t compare to the inside. Your steps will sink into the softness of EVA foam cushion inserts, whether you’re riding a board or working a factory line. Sponge rubber heel wedges help absorb painful heel impact, so you bounce back from each step. Made in a removable design, the inserts can be taken out and cleaned at any time.
More EVA foam was used in the midsoles to create another level of soft comfort. It’s all supported by the dual-density rubber bottoms. Two layers of shock-resistant rubber help your steps rebound with every strike. The soles are resistant to chemicals, oil and abrasion, all that stuff you might find at work. Slip-resistance keeps the tread tough, even on slick floors.
The soles are also EH rated to give you electrical hazard safety. They’ll absorb up to 600 volts of dangerous electricity, because your feet shouldn’t. Converse C1730 Men's Composite Toe Silver Skateboard Shoes are 100% non-metallic and totally airport-friendly. Even the composite toes and not made with steel, so they won’t conduct hot or cold, but they will protect. ASTM F2413-05 rated, the toes keep you safe against impact and compression.
