Nautilus 1700 Men's Brown and Black Composite Toe Work Shoes have full grain Nubuck leather and mesh uppers so your feet can breathe. They’re lace-up, so you can adjust the fit for some almost-end-of-the-day comfort. They’re non-metallic, rated for electrical hazards and the toes meet ASTM standards.
If you’re trying to decide between steel toes and composite toes, here’s the difference. They both meet safety requirements for dropped or rolling objects. But steel toes are made with…well, steel. Composite toes are made with a material like Kevlar, carbon fiber or plastic. Composites are lighter than steel and won’t set off alarms.
