These 100% non-metallic tennis shoes are made of leather uppers. Non-metallic means you won’t be setting any metal detectors off at work or at the airport. To protect your toes from being crushed, the composite toes in these Reebok safety shoes act as a barrier between you and falling and rolling objects. The ASTM F2413-05 rated composite toe is just as strong as steel toes, yet much lighter.
These black Reebok composite toe shoes feature Dual Resistor (DR) technology, which is electrical static dissipative performance taken to the next level. Static dissipative footwear is used in areas where static electricity could harm electrical equipment or ignite flammable materials. Static dissipative footwear allows small charges of static electricity to be dissipated into the walking surface. DR technology means that if one of the dual resistors fails, the electrical current will continue to flow into the grounding path to dissipate the electrostatic charges. What all these means is you and your equipment will be safe in these non-metallic ESD shoes.
