These 6-inch Carhartt boots are made with saddle tan brown leather. The flexible leather used for these work boots has been oil-tanned for increased moisture-resistance and durability. To make these wedge work boots feel even softer, the collars are padded and OrthoLite comfort tongues soften the tops of your feet.
More contouring OrthoLite was used to make the cushioning insoles of these Carhartt boots. Lightweight EVA foam creates a cushioning midsole layer to give you another layer of comfort. Because comfort is about more than softness, these Carhartt wedge boots are made with waterproof membranes that keep you dry. The ultra-thin membranes don't add weight or decrease your moving room, but they will keep away rain and wet.
The blown rubber wedge outsoles on these Carhartt boots are attached with Goodyear welt construction. Goodyear welt stitching creates a repairable, flexible bond between the leather and the soles. The shock-resistant rubber wedge soles have a slip-resistant tread, to keep all your steps steady. Plus, wedge boots have high surface contact so they don't pick up a bunch of debris, helping to keep you feet stably on the ground. The rubber on these Carhartt boots is also oil- and chemical-resistant, making it non-corrosive and more wear-resistant.
