Low-cut, flexible and lightweight, you might feel wary of taking these Hi-Tec 40704 Men's Total Terrain Gray Waterproof Hiking Boots into intense outdoor environments. They're flexible because feet need a full range of movement, waterproof because feet need to stay dry and tough enough to take on any terrain -- no matter how far you get off the beaten path.
The dark grey and graphite black uppers are made with a combination of waterproof suede leather and airy mesh. Soft suede is touchable and fuzzy to give feet flexible comfort. The mesh material allows ventilating air to get to your feet, preventing heat and sweat. Bright green (chartreuse) accents complete the design.
Waterproof membranes make sure air is all that will get inside. The membranes block moisture, so you stay dry even in ugly weather conditions. When wetness tries to attack from in, trust the moisture-wicking lining to keep your skin dry even when you start to sweat.
CMEVA, a type of soft EVA foam, was used to create the contoured footbeds. The removable cushions can be taken out and cleaned, but put them right back in to enjoy their contoured softness. The midsoles are made with the same soft material to give you two layers of comfort.
