Irish Setter 880 Elk Tracker Insulated Waterproof Boots were made by a company named after a type of dog for one of the biggest, baddest deer in the woods. These elk tracker boots aren't limited to hunting activity alone. They're made to protect you from weather. . .and whatever else might come your way.
The Irish Setter men's insulated waterproof boots' logger-style uppers are made with super premium brown leather. Resistant to wind and wet, the flexible leather protects feet with soft, strong support. The tall, 12-inch design is high enough to guard your feet, ankles and lower legs. Kilties, with their distinctive flap of fringe, extend over the tongue to add detail.
Inside, Thinsulate insulation (200 gram weight) keeps feet warm in the face of winter weather. Lightweight Thinsulate prevents natural body heat from escaping your skin, keeping you warm and insulated even in freezing weather conditions. Gore-Tex waterproofing seals out moisture with breathable inner booties, keeping feet dryer. ScentBan technology, integrated into all Irish Setting hunting boots, kills bacteria before it creates odors.
Leather welt construction joins the tough soles to the leather with flexible, sturdy stitching. The cleats on the soles ensure tough gripping traction. The toothlike projections bite down into muddy, rough and unstable ground to help you maintain footing. No need to keep hunting for the perfect boots -- the Irish Setter 880 Elk Tracker Insulated Waterproof Boots are right here.

One year later....
I did extensive research on hunting footwear and finally settled on the Irish Setter Boots: Men's Insulated Waterproof Hunting Boots 860, Elk Tracker.
I bought my boots in Sept. 2013 for that years hunting season. Anyone who hunts in the Pacific Northwest can attest to the wet climate this region brings. For years, I trudged through the forest and meadows with subpar boots. Finally, I had enough of the wet feet that invariably came hours into the mid morning hunt on those wet day.
Upon receiving my boots, I proceeded to follow the manufacturers suggested treatment and care to make sure these boots do all they say they will do. (You really do need to treat your boots better than you expect them to treat you!) I applied a generous coating of mink paste to my boots and rubbed it into every crevice stick or surface. I rubbed it in using a cotton cloth (later my leather gloves were used so as to treat both in one shot.). Working the mink oil into the leather by rubbing it in took some time and I also stripped the laces to coat even the hidden areas.
Having already harvested my deer for the year, I occasionally wore my boots throughout the winter, but it was mild and the wet conditions were not realistic to my hunts.
Right out of the box these boots fit like a dream! Still, a year later, they are just as comfortable. I began to wear these daily just for this simple fact!
Now, that the 2014 deer season is still in full swing, I can attest to the quality of these boots, if treated in the manner I describe and retreated prior to subsequent wed day hunts.
I wore these boots through many days of wet deluge. I encountered shallow streams, Wet grass, low shrubs, rocks, wood and other items which tend to relegate other boots to a sloppy wet mess. The Elk Tracker 860 left me totally dry and comfortable. These boots are by far the best pair of boots I have ever invested in.!
If you get these boots, treat them right and they won't let you down. One year later, and my boots are performing as I had hoped they would and my feet remain dry and I most definitely recommend these boots to anyone who wishes for the same.
REMEMBER.TREAT THEM GOOD AND THEY WILL TREAT YOU GOOD.

Why Choose Working Person? Let Our Customers Explain!
I recently purchased a pair of boots form your web site, I had been told by a friend that the boot size for Milwaukee boots ran the same as Harley boots. The boots I ordered were the wrong size for me and when I called to check on my order I was told the boots were on back order. When I finally received them they were too big. To make a long story short I was handed over to Marcy and she turned an average at best transaction into a phenomenal testament to customer satisfaction. Not only will I be purchasing my footwear from you, I will be recommending you to all of my riding buddies. Kudos on hiring and placing such an outstanding person in your organization.
