Made with a combination of Merrell’s Opti-Warm technology and 200 gram Thinsulate insulation, these boots are perfect for keeping your feet protected and warm in cool, cold or freezing temperatures.
Make no mistake; these insulated boots are not made to be worn only in winter weather conditions. With their 3-season comfort design you can easily wear them in fall, winter and spring, providing you with more bang for your buck.
The uppers are designed with durable nubuck leather and lightweight TPU shells, which are completely waterproof. This waterproof membrane provides you with an impermeable barrier so you feet will stay dry and comfortable throughout the day.
Additional comfort is provided to your feet with the Ortholite anatomical footbeds, equip with a compression molded EVA footframe in each boot for extra cushioning. Merrell air cushion in the heel works to absorb shock and will add stability to your stride.
Along with the 200 gram Thinsulate, you will find Merrell ActiveHeat insoles with silver reflective film between two insulating polyester layers. This combination of Thinsulate and ActiveHeat insoles will help keep your feet at the perfect temperature as these boots are great for keeping your feet nice and toasty in temperatures as low as -25F/-32C degrees.
The outsoles on these hiker boots are made with extremely resilient Vibram Thermo 6 Sole/Trek Dura Rubber. The 6mm sole lug depth will help your feet grip to the surface beneath you to keep you on the move. There is also a snowshoe strap ridge, perfect for the times you need to strap them on and bear through the snow.

“I just spoke to your customer service rep Hope and wanted to tell you what a great job she is doing! I had a issue with an order that I placed that was put on back order and subsequently cancelled by another rep. She informed me by email that my order for my Tactical pants were canceled. I never asked that they be canceled but this other rep took it upon herself to cancel it. I was upset to hear that the easy way out was to cancel my order. I was fortunate to get Hope as a contact when I had to call about this order. She was great in not only finding my (cancelled) order but finding the same pants hanging on a rack in your store! Hope made the extra effort to not only find pants in your store but also took them to the shipping department so that I could get them within the next couple of days!
