Full-grain leather and 1000 denier nylon combine to create the ventilated, tough outer shell. The brown leather is not just waterproof, it's also flexible and soft around your feet. The breathable, abrasion-resistant nylon panels release heat to prevent sweat.
Wave mesh lining surrounds the inside of each boot. The loose mesh design allows air to flow around your feet, further working to keep you cool. And when you need to be warm instead, the lightweight insulation takes over. Thinsulate Ultra is named for its thinness and no-bulk design. The 400 gram weight insulation absorbs your natural body heat, reflecting it back as needed so you stay warm.
The full-cushion footbed cushions impact, so every step is softened. Covered with a mesh sock liner, the removable footbeds may be cleaned at any time. Compression-molded EVA foam creates a shock-absorbing core in the midsoles.

“I bought a pair of the waterproof, insulated, 12 in. Georgia Boots to wear in the massive underground (UMWA) Harris coal mine in Boone Co., West Virginia. As a union fireboss, I walk at least 5 miles a night 300+ feet underground through some of the worst conditions anywhere. After 27 years and at 4 different Eastern Coal Corp. mines, these are the best boots I've ever worn. Thanks for making my job more bearable and comfortable, as comfort is a hard thing to find in coal mining.
