Wolverine 2714 Northman 8 Non-Safety Toe Insulated Gore-Tex Work Boots are made to be tough enough for loggers, but you don't have to be wearing flannel to appreciate them.
These logger-style boots are crafted from light brown Horween leather. Horween has been working with leather since 1905, which is just about enough time to get it perfect.
Inside these boots, Gore-Tex membranes protect your skin against moisture. The waterproof membranes keep moisture out, but they're breathable so they won't block air. Skin will stay dry and ventilated for cool comfort.
Warm Thinsulate Ultra (400 gram weight) keeps you protected from cold with heat-trapping insulation. Thinsulate absorbs your heat and reflects it back to your body as you need it.
Shock-resistant polyurethane inserts absorb impact to soften steps, so you won't feel so much pressure on joints and feet. Long-wearing leather midsoles add another tough layer. All that softening is pretty great, but maybe unnecessary. Your feet will already be supported by dual-density polyurethane and rubber outsoles. The two-layer cushioning helps you resist impact with every step.
Designed in a tough lug tread, the soles give you grip even in unsteady situations. Goodyear welt construction joins the soles and the leather together with flexible, repairable stitching.
