Chippewa made these boots with Bay-colored Apache leather uppers (Apache is a style of leather that has a distressed look) with 9" shafts. The shaft has a generous padding all around the collar, so they will stay comfortable and won't chafe. The weather-resistant lacing eyelets will insure a comfort fit even after extended use. They are completely waterproof, so you won't have to worry about stepping in the random puddle. This work boot has a Vibram Black Portland Yellow Plug outsole that is slip- and oil-resistant, and has a very aggressive tread that will grip in any direction.
The interior of the Chippewa Apache Work Boot has 1000 grams of Thinsulate insulation. This will keep your feet warm in extreme environments, making the weather much easier to bear. These work boots have a brushed Nylex lining that wicks away moisture caused by perspiration and allows your feet to breathe. There is a removable polyurethane orthotic insole that gives your feet great support, and adds to the comfort level of the boots.
