These tall, logger style books are made with brown full-grain leather. Full-grain leather is Nature's wonder material, pliant and soft but still tough and durable. The flexible leather will feel soft around feet, but it's tough against water and weather. Yellow laces stand out handsomely against the brown background.
The inner lining material is 50% recycled, to keep Nature happy. Every time you wear these boots, you'll be helping to take care of the world and the environment -- and while it won't create any less rain it will help you make a difference. Soft, cushioned footbeds absorb stepping impact to prevent pain and fatigue.
Georgia's waterproof system will keep you dry, Thinsulate will keep you warm. The 600 gram weight Thinsulate Ultra is incredibly lightweight and thin, but it's a heavy hitter against cold weather. Warming Thinsulate will insulate feet and keep you warm without adding bulk.
Norwegian welt construction holds the rubber lug outsoles in place. Similar to storm welt construction, Norwegian welt uses sturdy stitching to create a water-resistant, tough seal between sole and leather. The flexible stitching around the sole can be repaired to extend the life of your boots.
