These Wesco 8716 Highliner 16-Inch Black Leather Lineman Boots take quality to a whole new level. Literally! Designed specifically for climbing and other needs of linemen, these American-made boots are essential for anyone whose job takes them off of solid ground.

Made here in the USA by expert boot makers, these Wesco boots feature rugged, 16-inch, full-grain leather uppers with leather side patches. Designed specifically for climbing ladders, telephone poles and electrical towers, these boots sport non-slip, oil-resistant Vibram rubber outsoles with one-inch heels and double-stitch sole construction. There are also metal reinforcement plates in the heels, strong non-corrosive steel shanks and leather half-slips for added arch support. The Stytherm counters (which run along your Achilles tendons) and hard toes are incredibly strong, adding to the great level of protection these boots offer.

So it's pretty obvious that these boots are not fooling around when it comes to durability and protection, but when you're on the top of a telephone pole, it's nice to have a pair of comfortable boots while you're at it. Luckily, these Wesco Highliner's come with double-layered leather lining and removable, OrthoLite Drilex comfort foam inserts.
